The Story so far...
It has been 10 years since Peter Thorowgood opened the doors to the first Saddlery Warehouse store on Auckland’s North Shore. Over the years he has travelled all over NZ with his band of merry men and women doing the truck sales and events, clearing stock and gathering customer details for our mailing list. He also used this time to talk to our customers gathering feedback and suggestions which has helped us to get where we are today.
In recent times, Peter has been spending more time getting back into his true profession, saddle design innovation and manufacturing for our customers, while leaving the day to day running of Saddlery Warehouse to his children. Nathan has recently become General Manager and looks after general operations and the franchise system. He also heads the mobile sales as the truck driver and 'Covers Guy’. Chelsea is now in charge of marketing and promotions after years as the Albany store manager. She is also responsible for the growing number of pink products we are stocking these days. Together with a super team of staff and franchisees all contributing to a vast pool of equine and business knowledge we are ready to take Saddlery Warehouse to the next level.
But we are here for one reason, YOU, our customers, and for us to improve on what we are doing we need you to tell us how.
